This is a reference to Austen legacy. I like the idea of separating story lines especially within a genre and similar worlds. By reading A. legacy short story, the reader will immediately know it falls within this general story line AND that it is a short story.
This may not mean a lot now, but if I get to the point that I write “Emma & Emissaries” or “Persuasion & Pirates” etc. then the A. legacy will have more meaning.
Oh, and I wrote Easter eggs into this book….. anyone notice the reference to Knightly?
